News: Spanish property sales up by 15% in February

Property sales in Spain are on the rise again, according to recent reports.

Nearly 140,000 homes were bought in the first quarter of the year, representing an increase of 15% on the same period in 2017 and the best figure for the first quarter of a year ever since 2008.

This is really good news for homeowners currently looking to sell up, perhaps to buy somewhere else on the Costa Blanca.

As far as sales of second-hand property in Spain are concerned, they account for approximately 90% of the total. Nevertheless, the Costa Blanca is experiencing a new property construction booming with quite a few new projects currently under construction in much sought-after areas like Orihuela Costa and Torrevieja.
