Dehesa de Campoamor is a much sought-after residential area located on the Orihuela Costa, south of the Costa Blanca. This lovely spot has become a most favourite place for thousands of Spanish and European residents who arrive in Campoamor both for their Easter and summer holidays as well as for permanent living.

Campoamor is practically on the border with Murcia´s Costa Cálida, making it possible for tourists and residents to enjoy the best of both worlds. The area is very well connected, as it is situated just a few kilometres from the entrance to the A7 motorway, on which you can reach the airport of Murcia in about 15 minutes, and Elche-Alicante airport in less than 40 minutes, while the city of Torrevieja is no more than 10 minutes´ drive on the main road. Taxi and bus services are also available, making it easy to move around even without a car.

Dehesa de Campoamor is similar to other areas of Orihuela Costa as popular as La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Mil Palmeras and Punta Prima, and it has two and a half kilometres of coastline, divided into three beaches of fine white sand, being the best known the beach of La Glea. This beautiful beach is located north of the Campoamor marina and is known for the cleanliness of its waters, the accessibility and the excellent services and facilities provided, thanks to which it has been awarded a Blue Flag. La Glea beach is equipped with a Red Cross base, rental of sunbeds and umbrellas, pedal boats, jet skis, beach bars, tapas bars, volleyball nets, foot showers and WC.

This beach is especially recommended for the practise of water sports such as diving, thanks to its clean seabed. It also has a wide promenade, ideal for a relaxing stroll any time of year, as well as a diverse range of leisure and catering services. The beaches are cleaned daily to ensure the comfort and tranquility of those who visit in any season.

In Campoamor we can find several supermarkets, pharmacy, hotels, restaurants, bars, ice cream shops, summer disco, parks, marina and other possibilities for leisure to make our stay even more pleasant.
